1. Introduction
Welcome to Credence Engage, an events platform operated by Credence Africa (“we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“these Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services, including any content, functionality and services offered. By accessing or using Credence Engage, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.
2. User Conduct
Users are expected to use the platform for its intended purpose: finding, registering for and attending Credence Engage events. Any unauthorized use, including but not limited to attempts to disrupt the service, harvest user data or post fraudulent information, is strictly prohibited.
3. Tickets and Registration
When you register for an event, you must provide accurate details. We email your ticket to the address you register with, and you may need to show it, printed or on your phone, to enter the event. Payments for paid tickets are processed securely by our payment provider, Paystack.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Ticket fees are non-refundable unless we cancel or postpone the event. If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future event. See our Refund Policy for full cancellation and refund terms, including how to request a refund.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, is the property of Credence Africa or its content suppliers and is protected by international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without explicit permission.
6. Limitation of Liability
Credence Africa shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use our services, including event cancellations or technical failures beyond our control.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change significantly affects a registration you have already made, we may also notify you by email. Continuing to use Credence Engage after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any legal action arising out of these Terms shall be filed in the competent courts of Kenya.
