What are cookies?

How we use cookies

Credence Engage uses only a small number of cookies and similar technologies, where they are needed for the site to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Cookies we use

• Essential cookies: Event pages load a checkout script from our payment provider, Paystack, which may set its own cookies to process payments securely and help prevent fraud. Paystack's own privacy and cookie policies apply to these cookies.
• Sign-in storage: If you are a member of the Credence team and sign in to manage events, your browser keeps your sign-in details in its storage (not a cookie) so you stay signed in until you log out.
• Functional cookies: For signed-in team members, a cookie named sidebar_state stores whether the dashboard menu is open or collapsed. It expires after seven days.

Managing cookies

Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse all or some cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. Please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of this website, such as ticket payments, may become inaccessible or not function properly.
